More rain! More paintings sold!

Neigbor situation being handled. Heard more stories about others past "range disputes". Some people just do thangs the cowboy/girl way and others... well to others the Lord will deal with in His way as only He can. What I learned from this harrowing situation is to just keep our eyes on Him, trust & obey. This things get thrown at us to get our perspective off of Him & our focus on worry, fear & strife. This has lead to my resolve to paint of more peace & joy.

Don't Fence Me In

Unable to paint due to dramatic recent events. Fencing issues have led to incident that makes me wish to live with more congenial neighbors. 99% of country folk are reasonable but that other 1% are reminescent of duelin...well .. you get the idea. There's a great idea for a painting in this experience somewhere still brewing.

Rain Prayer

Yesterday I prayed for rain and that late afternoon we got almost 2.5 inches. Very encouraging and I'm thankful. I'm going to paint another painting today to celebrate. The ponds aren't full yet but we're praying for that now. A lot of critters have been stirred up and found by the dogs. A large rat snake, a good sized turtle, and 3 rats - one that was spewed out the exhaust pipe when the ancient tractor was started up.
